Damon Blake Willis has practiced law for almost a decade, and he is a partner and founder of the law firm Ewing, McMillin & Willis. For the entirety of his career, Mr. Willis has devoted 100 percent of his practice to exclusively representing everyday people that have been wronged or injured by the negligent, reckless, or intentional conduct of others. As a trial lawyer representing plaintiffs in litigation, Mr. Willis concentrates on cases involving car accidents, wrongful death, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, premises liability, and defective products. He does not currently nor has he ever represented large corporations or insurance companies.

Mr. Willis has had successful verdicts in multiple trials before both judges and juries in Kentucky and Indiana, with cases ranging in severity from soft tissue injuries to death. He has also tried injury cases before juries in Ohio and handled wrongful death and severe injury cases in Tennessee. Mr. Willis has appeared and argued before both state and federal appellate courts.

Mr. Willis is admitted to the state courts of Kentucky and Indiana, the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western District of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Mr. Willis is an active member of the Kentucky Lawyers for Justice Association, Kentucky's only plaintiffs' trial lawyer organization. He is a member of the state bars of Kentucky and Indiana along with the Louisville Bar Association.
Personal history
Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Mr. Willis has lived the majority of his life in Louisville, Kentucky. In 2001, he married Melissa, and they have two children, both boys, Jackson, age three, and Wyatt, age one. Mr. Willis serves as a volunteer for Safe Place, has taught fifth grade Sunday school at Springdale Presbyterian Church, and has served as a Salvation Army volunteer for many years. He enjoys being with his family and running, bicycling and weight training in his spare time.
